Oh, the characters.. ├ü is alt + 0193 and ├® is alt + 0233

I looks like, to me, that the Guilds more active groups are GW2 and SWTOR. Am I accurate in that assumption?

Not necessarily, our EQ2 guild is very active and we had a pretty large turnout in Neverwinter this past weekend. I am sure they will be active after next week when the game goes live.
